Many of you know that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has a place in my heart. When little children tried to pronounce cystic fibrosis it came out as 65 roses. I am selling these gorgeous chocolate roses to benifit the foundation. One dozen for $20 and 65 for $100. Not only do you receive these beautiful rose, there are key lime flavored chocolate leave and little buds which are white chocolate covered vanilla tootsie rolls covered in pastille sprinkles. They are beautifully wrapped together in a bouquet. Help me in supporting the CF foundation with these special treats. They make wonderful gifts!!
When I first visited Arizona before I had moved here, I enjoyed eating at a resteaurant that had white chocolate and almond tamales. They were complimentary at the end of every meal and always my favorite part. So with that in mind, I have recreated their signature dessert: white chocolate almond tamales. Additionally, I made white chocolate and lemon, milk chocolate and toffee, and white chocolate and peppermint tanales. I am excited to come up with more unique tamale flavor combinations. What a fantastic treat for the upcoming fall holidays! Order yours today.
I have been staring at these two jars of yummy goodness for weeks with one idea in mind: truffles! So, today I made Nutella and Biscoff truffles.
For those who have never tasted Nutella before, it is a deliciously-tasting hazelnut and chocolate spread. To make the Nutella truffles, I mixed Nutelka with Rice Krispies for texture, dipped them in milk chocolate and topped them with gold sprinkles.
The Biscoff tuffles were made from Specaloos Cookie Buttter, a spread made from crushed Biscoff gingerbread-flavored cookies. The truffles were dipped in white chocolate and glazed with orange and gold shimmer. The combination of white chocolate and gingerbread is amazing!
Tonight I provided all the desserts for Tot Shabbat. The theme was red, white and blue in honor of the 4th of July, and I went with it. I made white chocolate graham crackers; red, white and blue rice crispy treats; and marshmallow pops. I also made my signature turtles with both pecans and pastachios. You can not do red, white and blue chocolate theme without doing also white chocolate covered cherries and strawberries! This dessert spectacular was enjoyed by adults and toddlers alike.
